For someone like me who has never worked at a company before, this opportunity has been great. I chose Code Squad because I wanted to apply for a full-time job but didn’t have any industry experience, and I’ve been learning a lot since my first day here.
I participated previously on a bootcamp, but I felt that they only taught us how to do simple stuff, so I was lacking that real, hands-on experience you only get when working with a company, on a team, and with real products, because it is a very different thing doing homework and working to deliver something to a client or user. In comparison, Jonajo gives me the opportunity to be more creative and search for solutions on my own, instead of trying to find the one correct answer.
I really like the SCRUM meetings and having weekly sprints. I also have the opportunity to learn from other engineers. Whenever I have a question they’re always happy to help.
